What is the Lisboa Card?
The Lisboa Card (also known as Lisbon Card or Lisbon Sightseeing Pass) is the official city pass issued by Lisbon’s tourism authority.
Its main purpose is to help tourists and visitors explore the city’s attractions at an affordable price, without the hassle of buying individual tickets and do a lot of planning.
What’s Included in the Lisboa Card?
Unlimited Use of Public Transport
With the Lisboa Card, you can enjoy free and unlimited travel on:
- Metro (including airport transfer)
- City buses operated by Carris
- Historic trams (including the famous Tram 28E)
- Funiculars & the Santa Justa Lift
- Trains to Cascais, Estoril, Sintra and Setúbal
This means you can visit the most important sights and take day trips to the Atlantic coast in comfort and without additional transportation costs.

Note: Most museums and monuments in Lisbon are closed on Mondays!

How much does the Lisbon Card cost?
Adults:
- 24 hours: €31
- 48 hours: €51 (€25.50 per day)
- 72 hours: €62 (€20.70 per day)
Children (ages 4–15):
- 24 hours: €21
- 48 hours: €28 (€14 per day)
- 72 hours: €35 (€11.70 per day)
Note: The Lisboa Card for children is only valid in combination with an adult card!
The longer the validity period, the more cost-effective the Lisboa Card becomes per day.
The Lisboa Card is activated upon first use and is valid hourly (24h, 48h, or 72h), not by calendar days.
